Edited by Andrew Haydon with a foreword by Timothy West, Raw Talent was published to mark the Fiftieth Anniversary of the National Student Drama Festival.
Raw Talent celebrates many fascinating and imaginative student productions that might otherwise have been unjustly forgotten. It also highlights the early efforts of hundreds of Alumni, many of whom have become highly successful critics, actors, playwrights, directors, designers, administrators, technicians and musicians, The list includes scores of household names and winners of prestigious awards such as Oliviers galore, CBE’s, MBE’s and even a Nobel Prize.
