The NSDF is a unique opportunity for students to show off the best of university and college drama. It has nurtured the careers of some of our finest actors, directors and producers, it is only fully established, arena for student theatre – offering an opportunity to develop and learn. Essentially – it’s ‘masterclass’ theatre offered to students to enable them to develop within their own shows, specialisms and interests.

It is now an institution, essential for the development of our brightest young talent, responsible for continuously raising the standard of student theatre through the inspiration of finalist shows, feedback sessions and the annual calendar of workshops. This is shown most-clearly in the energy and enthusiasm of the attendees partnered with the sheer quality of the workshop leaders and exhibitors.  In an age of TV show auditions and talent spotting, the NSDF recognises that talent, graft and originality are the core values that really drive drama in the UK.

My clients, Doritos, were launching a competition, which sought to recruit and inspire the most creative students in the UK, the NSDF was the perfect springboard for their message.
