When is the next NSDF? 

NSDF 23 will take place from 1st April - 7th April 2023 and four venues across the UK and online. This year we are going to Leicester, Derby, London and Manchester.

What is NSDF? 

NSDF is a week-long annual festival that showcases the best theatre created by 16-26-year olds from all over the UK. Alongside this, we offer 100+ workshops, discussions and events. At NSDF, talent is spotted and coached and lives get changed. You get to be part of something. 

When will the Festival Schedule launch?

How do I book a ticket? 

Via the book a ticket page and then through Eventbrite.

Will the festival meet my access requirements?

NSDF is committed to making the festival as accessible as possible. All festival days will be signed by professional BSL interpreters and all performances will have captions provided by the difference engine. I'm 26, can I attend NSDF 22? 

Yes! We've all lost time in the last couple of years and we have decided to give you a year back. NSDF 23 is now open for all 16-26 year olds, expanding our age range from 25.

I'm not a student - can I still take part? 

Yes! NSDF is for anyone aged 16-26 years old whether you are in education or not. 

I'm a mature student - can I still take part? 

Yes! If you are older than 26 and a mature student (in part or full time education), then you can get involved too. 

What are the costs? 

You will have to pay for your travel, accommodation if you need it and food

during the festival week.
