Management Team

The Management Team help us produce the Festival week. If you're interested in gaining hands on experience in Venue Management, Front of House, Box Office, Administration, Events Management and Producing then apply to be part of the team!

I’d encourage anyone who is interested in working in producing or any administrative role to get involved in the management team; you can catch up on sleep the following week!

Sarah Nicholson, Producer and Head of Productions (Maternity Cover) at National Thetare Productions and NSDF Trustee.

Over the week you will work with the Venues Team, Front of House Team, Workshops Team and be part of the team who create the evening events. You'll get to see shows and participate in our world-class workshop programme. You can see our Workshop Programme from 2019 here.

You will be led by the core Management Team who support you throughout the week, led by Festival Director James Phillips and Festival Administrator Lizzie Melbourne.

You will be empowered but mentored, you will have responsibility but be supported. It will be a full-on learning experience like no other.

WHAT DO OTHERS SAY ABOUT IT? motivates you and encourages you to be the best that you can be, allowing you to make mistakes and discover yourself in this world of theatre.

...chaperoning visiting artists, assisting on workshops, managing the venues, and some more random things like blowing up 100 balloons for the front was wild, but I loved every minute of it.
