Festival update

Festival news and the latest on E15, The Nutcracker and Daniel.

Tilly Reith joins us this week as Coordinator in the festival office. You can read about Tilly here

We have appointed three Managers to lead the Management Teams. They are Emma Groome (who played Essie in Parade 2015) leading the FOH Team, Olivia Haw (Management Team 2016) is leading the Venues Team and John King (Management Team 2015) leads the Workshops Team.

The Technical and Management Teams have been appointed and we look forward to all of them confirming their places.

We have had 110 entries (!) into the festival so far.

Thanks to everyone who has entered. We will deciding on the selected shows on Sunday 19th February and announcing as soon as we can on Monday 20th…

The office are off to Hull this week for a recce and meetings. Looking forward to seeing the city for the first time since it became UK City of Culture! You can check out what they have on here

Alumni News…Lung Theatre have been granted funding by Arts Council England to tour E15 (co winner of our Edinburgh Award 2015) including a run at Hull Truck. Paperfinches’ The Nutcracker had a brilliantly successful sell out run at Theatr Clywyd during the Christmas season and Footprint’s Daniel will play the Royal Exchange in Manchester on 22 March.
