The Festival activities will take place in different venues across Leicester city centre all within close proximity. 

We will publish more details about how to get to each venue nearer the time. In the meantime, please find some general information you might need to help you start planning your trip.

Leicester Train Station, Fox Street, LE2 0QB

Leicester train station is located right in the city centre.

As a guide, we recommend you book a train to arrive in Leicester by 12 noon to arrive in good time for Registration on Satuday 13 April. The venue and timings for registration are yet to be announced so please check back for more information on this. 

The last day of the Festival will be Friday 19 April which is Good Friday so please take extra caution when booking your train for any reduced services that weekend.

There is a taxi rank situated at the front of the station.


Access and Mobility Services at Leicester Train Station

Staff help is available 05.20 - 01:00.

There is a ramp for train access and step free coverage.

Wheelchairs are available.

Customers with wheelchairs who require assistance on graduated slopes should press the ticket gate ‘assistance’ button located at the bottom of the stairs near the self service ticket machines. To ensure availability of staff to assist, it is imperative that customers book assistance in advance.



Coaches to Leicester are available via National Express and link with other national and European services.

The coach terminal, Leicester St Margaret’s Bus Station, is based in the city centre, on Gravel Street.
