Audition Monologue Technique

Location: Studio79

A fantastic opportunity to work with an experienced director on any modern or classical monologue.  The session will include general tips and advice about auditions as well as a chance to perform and work on your monologue with the group and the director. Please bring 2 copies of your monologue to the session - you do not need to know the text off by heart - but you may make faster progress if you do.

Martin Berry is Head of Participation at Nottingham Playhouse and was Associate Director at the Bristol Old Vic for 2 years.  He has directed over 37 productions around the UK and the world.  His work includes award-winning tours for children, productions at the Royal Festival Hall, Queens Theatre, Nottingham Playhouse, Greenwich Theatre and Jermyn Street Theatre.

Unfortunately Studio79 is not fully accessible (There is no step free access and is up two flights of stairs). This is far from ideal and does not meet our hopes. If you have access requirements and would like to attend this workshop please email [email protected] and we will work our hardest to resolve the situation.
