Getting Your Own Work Off the Ground

Location: Leicester Adult Education College

Room: E1

Everyone always tells you - at whatever point in your career - that it's important that you make your own work. But how do you make that happen? Aimed at Directors and Companies, this is a discussion around the practicalities of how you get work made when you're starting out, from the conception of an idea, through developing that idea and convincing venues to let you put it on! This session won't have the magic answers - because they don't exist!! - but might have some practical advice.
