Workshops

workshop programme

Over the week of the Festival, we present a programme of over 100 workshops for all festival participants to attend. The workshops are led by some of the most exciting and brilliant organisations in the industry.

I leave today buzzing and inspired by the groovy people at @NSDFest. Really. It's all about the young. Those brains! Those questions! That rigour! It is all about the young. Thanks for inviting me. Simon Stephens | Visiting Artist NSDF 19

Last year we had masterclasses from legendary industry figures such as Dame Harriet Walter, Simon Stephens, Timberlake Wertenbaker and April De Angelis. As well as this workshops were offered by, among others, these major institutions:

the RSC, Young Vic, Royal Exchange, Manchester; Nottingham Playhouse, National Theatre of Wales, National Youth Theatre, Donmar Warehouse, Good Chance, Soho Theatre, Sisters Grimm, Headlong, Rash Dash, Middle Child, Barrel Organ, Fuel, Paines Plough, Lung, New Diorama, Bristol Old Vic, Mountview, Equity and NSDF Company in Residence Slung Low.

We will be able to announce the full workshop programme for the next NSDF in March 2020.
