NSDF 20: Moves and More

So you're choreographing a new musical. Or movement directing a show. Where do you start? Using examples from Shakespeare to Bob Dylan, a jam packed workshop on how to generate a movement language from scratch. How to make the most of your actors strengths and create a truthful and meaningful physical vocabulary.

Lucy Hind (Visiting Artist) works as a Movement Director & Choreographer in Theatre and TV, receiving critical acclaim for Girl from the North Country, currently on Broadway. Recent musicals include Sting's The Last Ship, Miss Littlewood (RSC), Calendar Girls (UK tour). She works regularly for the BBC. She is an associate member of Slung Low and was Dance Captain on the Paralympics Opening Ceremony 2012.
