Directing a Play: Where to Start

An introduction on how to approach directing a text. Using Rhinoceros by Ionesco as our focus, this hands-on session will explore preparation tactics for the director during pre-production right through to the first day in the rehearsal room with actors. Please read a synopsis of Rhinoceros and be familiar with the play before the session; scenes will be provided in the workshop.
