WYSIWYG - Lighting Visualisation and Plots

Modern theatrical productions rely heavily on visualisation, plots and electronic paperwork. Visualisation tools such as CAST Software WYSIWYG allow you to experiment and develop ideas before arriving at a venue. This interactive taster session will be lead by an authorised WYSIWYG trainer who has worldwide experience of training industry professionals and students alike. Students attending this session will learn how to develop lighting plots and create 3D visuals for a theatrical production. The training will also prove useful to students when applying for University courses – they will be able to reference the experience in their personal statements and in building their portfolios in preparation for their future careers.

Lighting Designer, Production Electrician and Programmer Stuart has experience within the entertainment industry, ranging from theatre to corporate as well as museum, hotel and roadway lighting schemes in the architectural lighting industry. An ‘Authorised Trainer’ of CAST Software WYSIWYG, having delivered courses for companies, colleges and universities worldwide Stuart is pleased to be able to offer a masterclass in WYSIWYG at the NSDF 2017
