Born and raised in Newcastle upon Tyne, Graeme trained at Central School of Speech and Drama (SM92) in the days before asking your friendly barista "What's the wifi password?" was a thing.
Can you imagine being an ASM with no internet and no mobile phone?
Upon leaving drama school he started his professional career in Stage Management at Frinton Summer Theatre and ever since has worked in theatres of all shapes and sizes nationally and internationally.
In addition to countless theatre productions Graeme has also worked on numerous outdoor events including Athens Olympics Opening Ceremony 2004, London 2012, many Durham Lumiere festivals and numerous other arts festivals. Work has ranged from presenting a solo dancer in the street with only a single speaker to building a replica of the 750 seat Quarry Theatre in a big top in field for a cast of over 100 with team of over 80 technicians
It beats working for a living!
