Frequently Asked Questions

when is the next NSDF?

NSDF 21 will take place from 27th March - 2nd April 2021.

does NSDF still plan to go ahead in 2021?

yes! Two weeks before NSDF 20 was scheduled to open in Leicester we were forced by the pandemic to cancel. We decided to put the entire Festival online, and make it free and available to everyone. #NSDF20 became one of the most innovative and vital festivals in our 64-year history and was an inspirational event and example for our industry.

We are busy making plans for NSDF 21 and will announce details very soon. In the meantime if you have any questions, please feel free to contact us and we'll do our best to answer.

can I still enter a show for NSDF 21?

yes! Although we are not able to come and see your work in person this year, we still want to hear from you and see if your work can be part of whatever shape NSDF 21 takes.

we are running a number of sessions where you can pitch a project via Zoom.

the first of these sessions will took place on the 27th November 2020. More sessions to be added in January 2021.
