Ali Pidsley

Associate

Ali is a Theatre-Maker from Yorkshire. He is a co-Director of Barrel Organ & a Core Artist with Unlimited. Ali works with Forced Entertainment on the delivery of their Participation work in Sheffield & is a Mentor Director with National Theatre Connections.

Directing includes All Your Houses, Once & Future, Some People Talk About Violence & NOTHING (all with Barrel Organ), Me for the World by Molly Taylor (Young Vic), Antigone by Lulu Razcka (New Diorama), Pops by Charlie Josephine (Hightide/ Live Theatre; Winner of The Stage Edinburgh Award 2019), A Girl in School Uniform (Walks Into a Bar) by Lulu Razcka (Leeds Playhouse), Blasted by Sarah Kane (RIFT Theatre).

As an Assistant & Associate, Ali has worked at the National Theatre, with Headlong, Chichester Festival Theatre, Manchester Royal Exchange, Leeds Playhouse & on the West End.
