Sean Linnen

Associate

Sean is a director from Manchester. He was previously Trainee Artistic Director at Sheffield Theatres and Paines Plough, and Resident Assistant Director at the Donmar Warehouse.

Directing credits include: I Threw It, Bee (The Old Vic); The Distance (Nottingham Playhouse/The Yard); katzenmusik (ArtsEd); Machinal, Tartuffe, Mojo (RWCMD); The Welkin, Her Naked Skin (GSA); Growth, Moon Licks (Paines Plough/RWCMD), 322 Days (Paines Plough); Hollow (Bike Shed Theatre, Exeter) A Preoccupation With Romance (Edinburgh Festival Fringe).

He has worked as an Assistant/Associate Director for the National Theatre, Old Vic, Bridge Theatre, English Touring Theatre, Edinburgh International Festival, Manchester International Festival, Rose Theatre, Kingston and Park Avenue Armory, New York.

He is a tutor for Open Door, and an Associate of the National Student Drama Festival and the National Youth Theatre.
